Born on 25 July 1994 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, I am Ricky Mountaineer — a climber shaped by the mountains, driven by passion, and built through perseverance. Growing up in the Himalayas gave me a deep connection to nature, adventure, and the spirit of exploration from an early age.
My journey in the outdoors began over 10 years ago with trekking, where I first learned to understand the mountains, their beauty, and their challenges. Over time, my curiosity turned into commitment, and in the last five years, I fully dedicated myself to professional mountaineering and high-altitude climbing expeditions.
I have successfully climbed more than 30 peaks, including two 7000-meter summits, facing extreme conditions, technical terrain, and mental challenges that tested my limits. Every summit has been a lesson — in patience, discipline, resilience, and respect for the mountains.
Along this journey, I realized that my purpose was not just to climb, but to lead, guide, and create opportunities for others to experience the Himalayas safely and professionally. This vision led me to establish White Expedition in 2019. What started as a dream grew into a trusted adventure brand focused on safety, learning, and real mountain experiences.
As the Founder of White Expedition, I have led over 100 expeditions, guiding teams across Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, and Sikkim through some of the most breathtaking and challenging landscapes in the Indian Himalayas. My leadership is built on teamwork, trust, and responsibility, ensuring every climber feels supported, prepared, and confident.
To strengthen my technical foundation, I have completed Basic Mountaineering Course (BMC), Advanced Mountaineering Course (AMC), Search & Rescue (S&R), and Wilderness First Responder (WFR). These certifications reflect my commitment to safety, professionalism, and excellence in every expedition I lead.
For me, mountaineering is more than reaching summits — it is a way of life. It is about discipline, leadership, mental strength, and inspiring others to believe in themselves. Through White Expedition, I continue to build a community of climbers, adventurers, and dreamers who share the same love for the mountains.

As a professional mountaineer and the founder of White Expedition, my vision is to promote Indian mountaineering and showcase the incredible potential of the Indian Himalayas. Growing up in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, I have always been inspired by these mountains, and I want to share their beauty, adventure, and challenges with the world.
I aim to explore new and unclimbed peaks, bringing attention to the hidden gems of India that remain untouched by climbers. From beginners attempting 6000m peaks to experienced climbers taking on 7000m summits or extreme-level challenges, India has something for everyone. Through my expeditions with White Expedition, I strive to make mountaineering in India safe, responsible, and accessible, including winter climbing, which few people experience.
My goal is also to inspire the new generation of adventurers. I want young climbers to see that with proper guidance, training, and determination, they can achieve incredible feats in the Himalayas. Every expedition I lead is not just about summiting a peak, but also about learning, building resilience, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
